Partner: Ross Munro
Ross started the accounting practice in 1999 originally as a consultancy business on a part-time basis, after returning from the UK in 2001 and identifying the need for an outsourced Financial Manager for small to medium sized businesses the practice was reopened. In 2012 he opened the specialised tax and trust advisory business, Alba Consulting in addition to Ross Munro & Associates
Ross obtained his B.Com (accounting) from University of Port Elizabeth and after completing his articles with Nolands Chartered Accountants he qualified as a South African Professional Accountant (SAIPA).
In 2011 he completed his H DIP Tax with distinction and in 2013 completed ADIT (Advanced Diploma in International Tax) also with a distinction.
Associate: Craig Morse
Craig studied and completed his BAcc degree at Stellenbosch University. He then went on to complete his 3 year articles in a medium sized audit firm based in Stellenbosch. After articles, he remained at the same firm for a further two and a half years in the position of audit manager. It was during his time at this audit firm that he successfully completed his BAcc(Hons) and passed SAICA’s ITC exam.
He was exposed to and worked in many different industries while out on audit, including commercial and local government. Craig joined Ross Munro & Associates in April 2016 and passed SAICA’s Board 2 exam and registered as a CA(SA).
Manager: Kurt Arendse
Kurt obtained his BCompt Acc degree through UNISA after which he started his articles at the audit firm Verryn & Co. Inc in 2013 and completed my articles in 2016.
Kurt Joined Ross Munro & Associates in September 2016 as a Manager of Monthly Accounting Department.
